Beta Test a New Game: Betty Boop's Cartoon Frenzy!

Played the same way as the Word Search game on the Betty Boop Web site... but with a twist!

Remember, this is a beta version with no fancy graphics.

wow this is a lot tougher than the original game... it's pretty challenging the way the grid keeps changing!! The sound effects scared me the first time I heard them... even my dog jumped and barked... ha ha.

What problems are you having?

Well when I try and go into the game, there is a red cross in the corner where the game should be. This usually happens when you need certain programmes on your computer in order to run a game......that wasn't too clear was it?!

What browser are you using, Internet Explorer or Netscape? What version?

Are you using a PC or Mac? What operating system, i.e. - Windows XP or OS 10?

Mgchan!!! I'm so not computer minded! What you just said kinda went over my head! Ok, I'll try to answer as best I can......
I think I use internet explorer - simply cos I never heard of Netscape! I'm using a PC, and it on windows xp.

Ok, I think thats right - so, wats up doc? x

Try this:

1. Go to http://java.com/en/index.jsp. We're going to install 'Java 2 Runtime Environment'.

2. Click on Free Download.

3. After a page loads, it'll prompt you 'Do you want to install and run "Java Plug-in 1.4.2 03"...' > Click Yes.

4. After downloading, it'll prompt you with 'Do you want to install and run...' > Click Yes.

5. On the license agreement, check 'I accept the terms...' > Click Next.

6. By default 'Typical' will be checked. > Click Next.

7. When it's done with the installation, click Finish.

8. The screen will change and you'll see a new page saying 'Java Software Installed'.

9. Restart your computer.

10. Go and play the game. If you get the same red icon, hold down the CTRL key and select the Refresh icon on your browser. The Refresh icon looks like a page with arrows in it and is located between the circle w/the x and the little house icons.

The Betty Boop games are the best but I just don't have enough time to play them all. The scrambler drives me nuts cause I try to find all the words as fast as I can... it's fun!
