as a big collector of betty boop collectibles i like vintage and hard to find items. Here is a betty boop prototype figurine that was never produced. Which makes very rare since there is only one these. This is only one of the many other prototypes that i have of this lovely vixen.

Hi Booper Looper Im with you. I like the original look of Betty when she appeared in her cartoons in the early 30's. This is when she captivated her audience the most at the height of her career. And the toys in those days could not be surpassed with the collectibles today. So that is why Betty Boop has lasted as long as did.

Hi bikerbetty, these prototypes were made back in the late 90's. By a company who let their licence expire on betty boop and coca cola. So over ten years later they were just found sitting in their warehouse. The ones with betty and coke had its advertising sheet of the different figurines that will be for sale. But not all of them had survied. Lucky for me i was able to obtain most of them before they were to be lost forever.

Many of the betty boop items were discarded if a piece was broken off.

Since I sell Betty Boop products on line (and have since 1998) I'm always curious about prototypes and businesses that manufactured BB items and are now gone or no longer make BB stuff.

My Husband just told me that the dobbers that I have were never released to the general public. They were made for the sales reps. to use as samples. The factory where they were made is called Arrow International Inc. Of the 7, 4 are marked with:King Features Syndicate Inc/Fleischer Studios Inc. Hearst Holdings Inc/Fleischer Studios Inc...........They are Patriotic Betty,Born To Boop(Betty on motorcycle with pink+purple+yellow flames),Large dobber with Betty in Red Dress with Hearts all around her,Small dobber exactly like the large with hearts...1.5 oz. the large is 3 oz.....The other 3 DO NOT have the KFS info on them.....1 of them is Betty dressed as a Vegas Showgirl,Another is Betty in a Red Dress+Garter with money in the air,The last is Betty dressed in Green sitting on a Horseshoe + it says Lady Luck...........I don't know if they are worth anything but I like them........

Yes Biker Betty I'm most likely spelling dobbers wrong tho....But yeah that's what they are used for to mark off the numbers on the paper BINGO cards..Everyone who sees them say they have never saw them anywhere else so I guess they are kinda unique(i don't know). He got my Mother a bunch with ELVIS on them a few years ago and then not long after he brought me my Betty ones..........I forgot they also have the year on them... The small 1 and The Patriotic 1 say 2004,The large heart 1 2003,the Born To Boop 1 2005.........The 3 Vegas Themed do not have dates............

Biker Betty I went there and I found my 3 Vegas Themed daubers and also the Small Heart Betty dauber....I didn't find the others that I have but maybe they are not as unique as I 1st thought....Oh well I like them anyway!!! I also have a Glass Domed Figureine that my Aunt Belva gave me a few years ago maybe you can tell me something about it ????? It's Betty in a purplish colored dress sitting on a half moon(has a face) with a castle or haunted house behind moon and a cat (from cartoon,I don't know name)standing on a stoned courtyard...says BETTY BOOP on front..On the bottom it says Betty Boop- Moonstruck- hand-painted sculpture- limited edition-1996 King Features Syndicate Inc/ FleischerStudios,Inc.-The Hearst Corporation- Sculpt No. cp18185 -TFM ---------there is a clear sticker that says crafted in china ---- and it has a picture of Betty with a heart around her head....It's a light weight piece and very nice looking..............

I don't have a picture, but I can take it to my friend's house and have her take a picture and post it for me..........All it says on the bottom is: BETTY BOOP---------Moonstruck-----Hand-painted Sculpture------LIMITED EDITION--------CRAFTED IN CHINA (on a clear sticker)-----1996 King Features Syndicate,Inc./Fleischer Studios,Inc.-----tm The Hearst Corporation------ betty boop figure with heart around head(it's a picture)----Sculpt No. cp18185---------c(in circle) TFM-----------There is nothing else on the bottom or anywhere on the figurine.........I'm not able to ask my Aunt Belva where it came from because she passed away on Nov.21 of last year. I'm just curious about it,it's really no big deal...I do appreciate you taking the time to try to help me out Biker Betty Boop...Thanx :)

I'm not real familiar with this figurine but Leonard Ellis can probably tell you more about it. He's our resident Betty Boop expert on these matters
It sounds like a nice figurine and something you will always cherish because it came from your aunt. I am sorry that she passed away. My grandmother passed away last November too.
