Nobody like to take exams, but sometimes to get thru college or school we have too! I went to college when my children were young and I didn't like to take them either. It will all work out for you and you will then graduate and it will all be behind you.

what do you mean GCDE's?? they are GCSE's here! maybe they are different in London! You don't really get a graduation here, you just kinda..leave school! with your GCSE's they help you either get a job, Apprenticeship (sp!?) or go on to further education (college, sixth form), you need good grades to get into good colleges and sixth forms and even some jobs! :D

Here in Queensland, Australia you receive a Junior Certificate in Grade 10 and then you go onto Senior where you sit a test called QCS (Queensland Core Skills) and somehow they combine your senior subject results and QCS result to give you an OP (Overall Position). It is between 1-25, if you get a 1 you are very smart. OPs are used to gain a position for University. Once you finish studying at uni for 3 to 5 years (depending on the course) you get a Bachelor of Whatever. Or if you want to do a trade you go to the local technical college called TAFE and usually recieve a Dipolma or Certificate in Whatever. So I guess I've just complicated things further for everyone :confused:

I loved school and would gladly go back. It changes so much when you're no longer a pupil and you try so hard not to lose contact with your friends but eventually you do. Not all I will add. Also I miss the buzz of excitement round holiday times especially Christmas. Enjoy these times and make the most of them while you can.

I feel the same way!
I find myself missing school sometimes.
Alot of it I belive is due to the fact that I got to see my friends everyday and now I have lost contact with most of them. Or most of us have families now and are super busy.
Enjoy school because it flies by and it will all be gone before you know it.

I just put all my focus on them for now and once both are in school and settled then I will go back to school and further my career.
I just couldn't go back to school while they were babies because I wanted to be there for them every waking moment.

im off for half term this week :) then i think im back 7 weeks then i break up for 6 weeks for the summer, when i go back i'll be in the last year of secodary school. i've been made a senior Prefect and a year 7 buddy. that means next year i will help the newbies at school, showing them around and helping them settle down.

i am! Today i was pretty disappointed because the place i applied for for my Works experience turned me down and i couldn't work out why. they said there were lots of applications but my friend went for an interview after me and got a placement. i also gave them 4 refrences and a CV which she hadn't. I phoned up and they told me that they knew i could do the placement standing on my head, and that i was too laid back, that the job would be too easy for me and that i wouldn't gain anything from it. In away i'm not too disappointed now because i can understand what they are saying. oh well, their loss!
