New Years Resolutions Anybody??

Does anyone have A New Years Resolutions? Mine is to take better care of myself by losing weight and me and my husband getting A better handle on our bills. We are also going to take A vacation this year to see family in New Mexico.:D

Mine would be to workout, eat better, and just all around take good care of myself. all the typical stuff i guess, but this would be a first for me to make these resolutions.

Is to take off some of these extra pounds I'm carrying around!!! And I'd like to at least cut down on my smoking ( I'd say quit but I'd be lying!). I believe if your gonna make a New Years Resolution it should be realisticly possible to achive!!!;)

I try to quit smoking a few times.
Its hard to do,right now i am cutting back on my smoking.

I've been smoking since I was 12 yrs. old and I'm 48 now, I've tried to quit a bunch of times but just wasn't able to do it..........Everyone used to say " if your health was involved you'd quit then" But even that hasn't made me quit, I have Asthma and I use a rescue inhaler when needed,I do breathing treatments 4 times aday with my nebulizer,I sleep with 2 liters of oxygen on every night, The last time I went to the Dr. I saw COPD noted in my chart...I'm not as bad off as some people who have Asthma and COPD but I do have some trouble breathing when I do simple things like walk from the front entrance of my apt. building to the car in the parking lot or to walk from my apt. door to the elevator..............Now even I know it'd just make sense if I'd quit smoking, but the truth is I don't have the willpower to kick this nasty disgusting habit it is an addiction pure and simple and so far I haven't found a way to stop smoking and stay stopped..... :(.......Oh well enough about me and my problems, DOES ANYBODY ELSE HAVE A NEW YEARS RESOLUTION? :D

also....i quit smoking last year when i found out i was pregnant...good luck to all the smokers who want to quit/cut back

What keeps me smoke free is every time I even think about A cigarret I think of my son and what second hand smoke could do to his health.:D
