Guess what? I dyed my own Easter eggs! Haven't done that in years!! That was so much fun!

I loved dying eggs when I was little. My brother's gf has an annual easter cake bake-off with her Mum and sister, she made the cake look like a basket and added decorated dyed eggs. It looked so pretty :)

I dyed eggs this year..... 36 eggs... I dyed each one by hand... made every one a different color and gave them to my sister and my mom and my hubby!! They came out pretty! I wore plastic gloves to keep my hands clean.

cool! sounds like alot of fun! My nana likes to dye eggs, i think she uses onions for dye!

Onions? Wow, I've never heard that one before.

I don't like to use vinegar in my food coloring... so I take each egg and put one drop of color on it and then rub it around in my hands the colors come out different every time!! you can also let them dry and then make them entirely different colors if you want. They come out pretty and vibrant colors or pastels if you add a drop or two of water while rubbing the eggs.

I still have some left. I should take a photo of them.....
