Outside of everyday work (at an office or at home), what hobbies do you have or enjoy doing by yourself, that's not related to collecting Betty Boop stuff? Feel free to post photos of your hobbies.

I enjoy the following, though not in order of priority:

Reef Aquarium
Photography
Woodworking/Furniture making
Stained Glass
Watching movies on my Home Theater
Working on my daughter's dollhouse
Playing computer games
Reading

Here's a photo of a grandfather clock I'd built, approximately 10 years ago, from a kit:

http://www.bettyboop.com/forums/photos/gfclock.jpg

It's a reproduction of a Newport clock made around 1760.

Working on my daughter's dollhouse

This should be interesting.
I think every little girl needs a doll house.

It's fun but very time consuming. It's almost like building a real house but on a smaller scale. The windows open & close, doors have hinges & doorknobs, electrical wiring, sconces and chandelier lights w/tiny wall switches, wood veneer floors, wallpaper, molding, carpeting, outside siding and cedar tiles for the roof. The only thing missing is plumbing!

those dollhouses are really cute.
I love them.
A little girl can sit inside and [erhaps look out of her window and her imagination will just "take off"!

Beautiful grandfather clock! I have always wanted one but don't have the room for one, so I have settled for a cookoo clock instead! One day I will have to figure out how to make room for one! You have a great talent, keep up the good work! I might have to hire you one day to make me one! :D

Thanks!
Sure...after I finish the dollhouse, the half-finished secretary/desk in the basement, the tea table that I haven't started on, re-modelling all three bathrooms, extending the house, re-model the kitchen, build a new deck or patio, landscape the back of the house, etc. LOL

I have tried it but never really got into it. It is better in a group then by yourself. It speeds things up!

I find it very relaxing. I have made my mom a couple and I made one for my oldest daughter. I took all her receiving blankets from when she was a baby and quilted them. I now need to for my youngest daughter.
