Thanks everyone for your concern about me here in Arizona.

Fortunately we are on high ground here and we sit above a lake and we haven't been affected by the flooding... some of our neighbors aren't so lucky though. Some have lost their homes and many have sustained considerable damage. The folks in the lower valleys are the ones most at risk right now.

The governor has declared a state of emergency for many parts of the state.

We seen snow, rain, hail and a tornado was spotted near Phoenix yesterday.

This is very unusual weather for us here in the Grand Canyon state. Normally our weather is pretty boring. The weather forecast is for more rain and snow in both California and Arizona.

Thanks again mz_angel623 and BBooper and everyone for your concern. :)

Well it was crazy like I seen in Phx there was snow and I saw the hail when I was leaving work yesterday. Then we had that tornado watch till about 6:30pm. Where I live it was ok but the streets were kind of flooded on my drive home from phx. But it's really good to hear about you Bikerbettyboop and that you weren't affected by flooding. I feel bad for the people who got damages to there homes from those rainstorms. And I second that it is pretty usually boring here in AZ. :):)

I am glad to hear that all are doing fine and are safe.
Unusually weird weather always makes me nervous.
Makes me think of that movie, Day After Tomorrow.
Anyone seen it?

This winter weather gets stranger all the time doesn't it? I wonder if it is connected in some way with the tsunami? What a tragedy that was!

I am so glad you are doing ok MZANGEL and sorry that you're having to experience such strange weather in the Phoenix area. Pretty bizarre! Drive safe and be careful. When we had the bad hail storms in 1999, my truck was severely damaged by the hail and it broke skylights in our house and flooded parts of our house. It was a mess! So be careful when the weather acts strange.

BettyBoop68, I am originally from Ohio and my husband and I have family and friends there still and we're hearing that the weather has been pretty rough on you folks too!

I pray that we all make it safely through these rough winter storms! Let's all pray for an early spring!!

I totally agree with you bikerbettyboop. This weather is out of sight in the northern states and needs to calm down. Spring needs to get here faster. I hope the ground hog doesn't see his shadow this year!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxmk37797US' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_6_9.gif' border=0></a>

Worse stuff to drive in, you can be all over the road if you don't watch it. I am pretty good at drive in the snow and ice, I learned how to drive in the middle of winter in North Dakota! What, about 4 feet of snow then I think!

Isn't that strange?

Like this past week we had ice storms and then today was nice and in the 60's.(temperature). Tomorrow and Monday we are suppose to be warm and have severe thunderstorms!!

Something is not right.....
