Betty Boop Store

Has anyone ever visited the Betty Boop Store at Islands of Adventure in Universal Studios in Florida? I was there two years ago and they have stuff galore!! They even have a woman dressed as Betty Boop and you take pictures with her. I've been a fan for about 20 years and my whole apartment is practically decorated with Betty. My cousin says I need to go to a rehab center (WINK). I replied , "you have to be a fan to understand" Let me know if anyone's checked it out!! Boop Power! ;)

Hi, Nydia,

I just went there this past August and it's so AMAZING. My eyes almost popped out of my head because I really didn't know that was there. I was walking along and all of a sudden I see a HUGE Betty Boop image above my head. I look, and it was a whole store for just Betty Boop. I was so excited. And, yes, they do have a person dressed as Betty Boop walking around. I felt like such a kid, but I took a ton of pics with her and I took video of her. I had a blast. Of course the store had a ton of the coolest stuff around, but I couldn't buy everything :( But I did buy some cool stuff, including some awesome Betty Boop dogtags. Love them.
It was definitely great to be there. It should be a mecca trip for all BB fans...lol.

Hey, neighbor....how cool is that...so great t meet you....and I know exactly what you mean by not having "money" I think I spent about $200 that day but I had a head start..I already knew it was there. I have a big 5x7 pic of me and Betty at home. It's always so nice to meet another boop fan and better yet, not far from me...let's talk some more! :D

I would love to see A Betty Boop convention, they have one for comic book's trust me I went to one last year with my husband. I think they should for Betty they have one for everything else.:P My mothership would be home:P I would have to bring alot of money could you imagine all the stuff to buy? WOW:eek:

wow im booking a trip to florida lol well at the mall of america theres a little shop and theres just a wall with betty boop but it has other great stuff like i love lucy marilyn monroe and bewitched.

Hi Boop fans...where's the Mall of America? I also went to Las Vegas in January and on the main strip theres a big souvenir shop where lo and behold, on the back of the store is dedicated to Betty Boop. I almost had a heart attack! It was a good thing I left my credit card at home. But I'm planning on going back to that store. If anyone's been there, I'd love to hear from you..It's near the Strastosphere Casino. :D

;) Also, I live in New York, where mostly all Hallmark stores have Betty Boop figurines and pillows and stuff. There's also a mall on 34th Street where they sell Betty Boop up the wazzoo!!:P
My daughter in a couple of years is going to the Air Force and I thnk I'm planning on converting her room to a Betty Boop Shrine :eek: because she just needs her own room! I can't fit anything anywhere and it doesn't stop me from buying!! :cool:

There is annual Betty Boop Festival held in California every year. We have been going for the last 7 years. If you want more info, e-mail me at AZBOOP@AOL.COM. It is a blast. Last year Richard Fleischer (son of Max Fleischer) was there signing autographs on items you brought.
