I bought two of the clocks. Charged on my credit card. One of the clocks does not accurately keep time. I am going to have to send back for an exchange. On the face of the clock it has:
2002 King Features Syndicate, Inc./Fleischer Studios, Inc.
TM Hearst Holdings, Inc./Fleischer Studios, Inc.
then the BB logo with the enlarged heart behind her head.


I am a bit disgusted about it. THey do have a Return/Exchange Service. I have emailed them explaining the defect.

QUESTION: The instructions in the rear of the clock says to insert a AA battery and set the clock turning counter clockwise. I did that...but it seems that the numbers are never on the time it should be. For example if it is 5:00 the clock's short hand will be between 4 and 5 while the long hand is correctly on :00. Husby thinks the counter clockwise action is to tighten the hours/minutes arms. I don't know...but the other one I gave to mom and she says Betty is doing what she is suppose to do as far as keeping the correct time.

I just wanted it to be in place when I have some guest over this weekend.

Too bad about your clock Neckless... it didn't say anywhere on the box who the manufacturer is? The info on the clock is the King Features legal license info.

I think the quality of some of the imported items is really beginning to deteriorate and not be as good as it used to be... maybe it's just me... but I'm a little disappointed lately in some of the newer items that we've gotten in. I've also had some unhappy customers due to inferior quality.

We've had 3 swingin' clocks where the swinging part just fell off and broke... they used cheap glue to construct it. I could understand it if this was dollar store stuff but Betty Boop products aren't inexpensive, so they shouldn't be made so cheaply.

Well that's my opinion anyway..... it's frustrating and discouraging.

You'll just have to promote her everywhere you go.Betty is highly addictive and the more folks see her the more they want her. If you tell folks where you got your BB stuff soon your shop will have more BB stock.It works, trust me ;)
