What's your favorite cookie, cake or pie for the Holidays?

Favorite cookie (or most made) = Sugar cookies (cut in shapes of course)

Favorite cake = red velvet with creamcheese frosting topped with homemade strawberry sauce

Favorite pie = pumpkin pie for my Dh and chocolate pudding pie for the kids and banana cream pie for me.

I'm actually not much of a pie/cake/cookie lover :eek:

Last year I just had a Santa shaped chocolate sponge cake - just plain, soft chocolate cake.
And I always liked ice-cream and jelly for desert at Christmas.
My parents take a trifle and sometimes pie with custard but I've always liked my food pretty "plain". I just have vanilla ice-cream and a Strawberry or Orange jelly (in seperate bowls from the ice-cream!).

I am making holiday sugar cookies and putting them in tins for my two brothers and there families for a gift. I am also giving some to my husbands parents.
