HAVE A BOOPADELLIC DAY!! Hi i am new here and thought i would start a thread and indroduce my self. My name is Lisa and I am married and live in Idaho, i have one child named Austin and he and dad and I love to play out doors on nice and sunny days. We have not had much snow here for the past year or so enough to go skiing on but ,yet not enough. I am an avid fan of colleting Betty Boop items for my car. I have the licience plate frame a bumper sticker and also a licence plate that says 2cute4u! Inside my house i have a Betty Boop puzzel hanging on my wall, my Betty Boop calander, my American Betty Boop doll and a Betty Boop head bobber (an angle), although my collection is just being started i am eager to find more things... I love to chat and am eager to make new friend. I am a great pen pal so just let me know and we can be great friends. I also have lots of access to alot of Betty Boop websites (just ask me) My friend Glenda has a great site. Peace to you all, Lisa :D

The image of Betty you posted, is that a photo of an item of Betty or an image downloaded from another site?

mgchan you can find that picture and others just as great from my friend Gelenda's web site, this is her own website and she also updates it frequently for the holidays, Christmas and mroe.... Be sure to sign her guest list and let her know who told you about the website she is always eager to find out how people found her site.

About the french lessons, I am confused, i am not sure why you would suggest that... i am not sure if i would have time to do such a thing. I go to school and work and have a family to take care of so i really do not have much time to be doing much of anyting else.

it's not a real lesson i would like it cultural more learning stuff you can ask any questions you want, well if you have time to chat here, you can have time to get info from this section but only if you are intersted in, we can of course talk about anything else enjoy your day and good luck for your studies i did exactly the same as you're doing learning to be a nurse at the same time having a family to take care with at the time 2 babies ! i have 4 now !

As Valerie stated, the French lessons are not real lessons but all in fun! With members from different parts of the world, it can be fun to share our cultures and languages.

Regarding the image, members cannot post BB images or links to BB images unless:

- a BB product that you're seeking information on.
- your BB collection or sharing a BB product you're happy to own.
- or a contest on this forum you're entering.

We're concerned about the poor quality and unauthorized BB images circulating around the Internet. We just don't want this great site to be guilty of doing the same. Besides... we are the Official & Authorized Betty Boop Forum and Web site! :)

Not sure why, but i am unable to chat with other memebers with instant messaging within this forum.....i tried to send a message to one person, and i was not allowed ...i have a yahoo username and chat online almost every Mon, Wed, and Fri....

I only download these pics that i get from Glenda my friend so she can have more people come and share her website and also so you can see i have not justified that these picuters are not mine nor am i the owner of the pics. i have set a link to find the betty pic's to be found at that web site i would never try to say that these pictures are mine.. they are pics that i like to share......Please i did not know until i posted this thread that i could not share my pic's nor did i know that you had to own any of the pic, by common law most of the betty boop pics are owned by the company that first made Betty Boop, the internet these days is here so we All of us, can find pics we can have at home an also pass around ... i know that some people do make their own drawings of Betty Boop and if they do they have their name on the pic ......again i am only trying to advertise my friends web site i apologize for the confusion [LINK REMOVED] if this link does not show up pleas let me know...

That's fine with members being able to pass around BB images/photos found on the Web or created/modified/scanned by the member. It's just not appropriate here. Nor links to your friend's BB site.

This site is owned and operated by King Features Syndicate, Inc. & Fleischer Studios, Inc., representatives and owners of Betty Boop.

Members can have loads of fun and enjoy being part of this community without doing the above!

P.S. - I know you did not know about the issue of posting images or links. It wasn't a reprimand or admonishment, just a statement. Have fun!

I am currently living in Twin Falls right now until May i will be moving up there and will be going to school at BSU.. i have family in Kuna, my hubby lives there right now until i get done with school at College of Southern Idaho.

OMG!!!

This was before I even meet my hubby and before I even knew him. Gosh wow. I recognize that email address. That is no longer even in use. Yea that was me. I had not been on very long an I think I just got to busy and forgot about the Boop forum. Before I knew it I was back on but could not remember my old username and password so I had to make a new username and password. So to save you from the confusion yea that is me but along time ago. I did not meet my hubby until June 2003 the date there is Feburary 2003. So that makes sence. My old me:)
