View Full Version : Who Exercises In The Group?

Now I have always been someone who loves to exercise but lately I have gotten lazy. Now I did start walking around my neighborhood and pushed my son in his stroller after he was born but then my foot started to bother me and I got lazy, so now as of TODAY I am going to start walking again and push him (he now weighs 16.8 pounds) in his stroller. I think what finally clicked for me to start taking care of myself was him, I want to be around for Along time for him and my husband not only that my body is feeling tired and achy alot more which is just not comfortable. I also really need to lose some weight I gained about 30 pounds while I was pregnant and I was overweight to begin with. So I guess what I am saying is I just need some encouragement from friends to keep me motivated. By the way I have been smoke free for A year and I did that cold turkey!! Does anyone else in the group exercise or diet? Any advice would be great.:D

I get my exercise from my horses!!

I personally don't really exercise - except for walking. (I live in a small town anyway so have always walked to school etc, and I couldn't afford a car even if I did want one! :)).
But it's always best to do something you enjoy, you're not going to stick to it if you hate it :)
For example, if there's any tennis courts near you and you enjoy tennis, then do that.
Or swimming.
Something specific you enjoy like that can be good for your body and your mind - since you enjoy it, and could even make new friends out of it.
You could even jog on the spot in your living room - you can watch the tv as you exercise! :D
