And yes, I have to agree that I really felt sad too at the end of the movie. It was a good one.

This is some beautiful work. I am especially impressed with this flamingo illustration.

Are these being sold?

I found Snap shots to be quite interesting. Is this a newspaper-newsletter or what?

mgchan
09-26-2004, 07:05 PM
Yes. They range from $5 for a cricket to $17 for a dragon.

My sister-in-law's husband tells me when he was in Hong Kong, they paid 50 cents (U.S. dollars) for a cricket!!!

Neckless
09-26-2004, 07:16 PM
I absolutely adore that flamingo. It's beautiful.
Are you from China?

mgchan
09-26-2004, 07:21 PM
It's a combination <a href="http://wiki.photoblogs.org/What_is_a_Photoblog">photoblog</a>, <a href="http://www.in-public.com/about.php">street photography</a> and creative outlet for me!

I've been doing photography since my early teens when I developed my own B&W. Though I picked up a digital camera about two years ago, getting a digital SLR changed everything!

No. Born in the good ol' U.S.A., 2nd generation Chinese-American. How about you?

Street Photography is about seeing and reacting.

I can relate to "Street Photography".
I notice your pics in NYC. Nice work.

mgchan
09-26-2004, 07:50 PM
Thanks! I hope you and everyone continue to enjoy them.

At work, during the week it gives me a good excuse to get out and take a walk during lunch.

Neckless
09-26-2004, 07:53 PM
I sure it does. There is a lot to see. I'm curious...why that man was in the US postal bin asleep. Wouldn't that be unlawful? Did you take that pic?

mgchan
09-26-2004, 08:23 PM
That individual is most likely homeless.

The U.S. postal bin was already there full of junk. It may or may not have belonged to him. It's pretty common for homeless individuals to take U.S. postal bins and fill them up with their possessions. Same with shopping carts from Supermarkets. They roam about the city, often parking themselves where they're not disturbed by the public or police. In this case, in mid-town Manhattan and he was there for a few days before moving on!

Every picture on <a href="http://www.dailysnapshots.com">Daily Snapshots</a> is taken by me. I try to take pictures everyday.

Neckless
09-26-2004, 08:27 PM
Oh gosh! I'll check it out.

I'm off the air for a moment. Better do a last minute check of things I should have packed for my trip to the US.

See ya later.

Neckless
10-02-2004, 08:26 PM
No. His birth place is Belize. Went to the US on a school visa nearly 8 years ago. Formerly lived in California...now lives in Texas.
Younger son is here in Belize with husby and me.

Neckless

HAS ALREADY GRADUATED COLLEGE. Ooppps..sorry a bout the caps!
and yes it was a school visa. He has a bachelors in DESIGN AND DRAFTING. Using a work visa to remain in the country while working towards citizenship. Buying a fine home and has totally furnished it.

My dad drives a big truck, cross country.
He has been a trucker since I was a wee little baby.
I use to go with him when I lived at home and was on summer vacation from school.
