The major difference is that in a forum like this, messages are seen by all and stay on the forums. In chat rooms, you can have private chats and any chats today, it's gone tomorrow. No one can read about what took place. Any participation is for the moment, not like her, it can continue and bring enjoyment to all, especially new members!

Good point,i belong to a group and we chat once a week for like an hour. that hour is just for that group..no one else can get in without being a member!!!!!

It really doesn't matter if you "like me or not".

You have really surprised me. Moderators should have special qualities and shouldn't aggravate situations. If you can't offer a worthy opinion or compliment...get someone who can. All of us have feelings.
When you take sides with other members in putting another member down...it says a lot about you and your experiences.


I log on here to this site...because so far...I like being here. Not looking to find loyalty in anyone here. Betty Boop is the one common ground that we all have.

When members say things like "it doesn't really matter if you like me or not" or start taking sides or start being antagonistic with little digs, it's plain silly.

Moderators are doing their job and if they suggest a topic is not suitable, they are not attacking that member. We appreciate contributions by the members but we also expect them to be on their best behavior. The forums here are moderated, like it or not!

So put an end to this nonsense.
