Hey all I am back!!
Had load of fun!! First it was Family reunion and then Vegas for the Van Halen Concert! That was the funest time. I did not get to drink but I had my share of Virgin Pina Coloda's!! Yumm, I hardly slept but I did get more sleep than my cousins who went with us. I felt bad Tammy's wedding ring broke then something she bought her mom broke, Then to make the drive memorable our car broke down. First we needed gas the guys past two towns where we could of got gas, we stopped at a ranchers house he had extra gas, then we had to go back to the same place for a phone in the end we ended up staying at a single bachlor ranchers house for four hrs!! He was nice and let us come in when it started getting cold and offered us lemonade. I had to make a collect call to my mom who got ahold of my dad to find someone who could find us an Alternator belt for the car. My dad brought us the belt along with my mothers Toyota SUV (they are divorced but get along really well for that matter.) And drove us home just to make sure. He is good with cars.
On the other hand I found a few Betty things I bought. I found a Betty Boop spoon, and the other is a crystal that has a irodecent pic of Betty inside of it. You place it on top of a light and she changes colors. I just got the crystal for now. She sits in my enclosed entertainment system cabinet. But I have tons of pics to download to my hubbys lap top and then get them emailed to me !! I missed ya all. Does not look like ya alls did much while I was gone. Talk to ya alls soon.

I know I will be ok with the 2 am feedings I have Russ here to help. My older sons dad never ever ever woke up to do anything. I even pushed him out of bed with my feet one night and he just crawled back in to bed. That time was very stressfull. I hit postpartum depression and used to cry all night just holdin my baby and would fall asleep on the couch. On the other had Russ is so helpful. He maybe a new daddy but he is always here to help me. All I have to do is ask or nudge him awake and he is ready to do anything for me:D :D Now that is a good Hubby!!

Hi Lisa... don't despair and worry... it sounds like Russ will be a good dad and will help you a lot with your new baby. He is pretty close to perfect isn't he?
Candlesnboop
08-31-2004, 01:27 AM
Well a man is a man but no one is perfect but he does make me feel good about myself and takes care of me very good, n Austin also:) That always makes me happy!!

That's what I meant when I said Russ is perfect... that's my description of it anyway cause I know that no one is perfect but I think he comes pretty close from what you've told us about him. He sounds like a wonderful husband and father.

09-13-2004, 12:23 AM
Yea, I feel that same way about what is perfect. I think I have told him what I think about it also on the other hand he does not think he is anything but perfect, although I know we all make mistakes so who really is perfect!!:)

Glad to hear things are going great for you Candles!
When I was pregnant with my girls their favorite time to excerise was when mommy was trying to sleep. I would have to get up and go rock in the rocking chair so they would go to sleep then I could get some sleep.

You could call it rock music. They are an older band. Came out in the early 80's I believe.

Yea, but they do have some really good love ballands that I am into. Jump is one of the older favorites if anyone likes Van Halen, they think of that song first.
The concert was ok, my hubby liked it better than I did! That was ok though. Told my hubby that he must treat me to a good B-day since the concert was part of his b-day present. I hope so!:)
BTW baby and I are doing fine:) Thanks for asking
