Don't worry folks... kids really do grow up and become adults... I know.. cause my son and nephews are all grown and have kids of their own now... so don't despair.. time will fly faster than you realize... someday you'll know what I mean... so hang in there...

bettyboop68

Neckless
08-12-2004, 10:04 PM
Hmmm. Are they well-behaved?<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_1_24.gif' alt='Bouncy 4' border=0></a>

Neckless
08-12-2004, 10:07 PM
I ask that because...my grands are not so loose with their mother as they are with me. It's because I let them stay up a little later or sleep with the TV on...or eat a little junk here and there.

melisa73074
08-12-2004, 10:11 PM
no my kids r good its just that she feels that her job is done and she does what she wants. her life comes first!!!!!!!! thats proberly why we dont speak!!!!!!!

Neckless
08-12-2004, 10:15 PM
O I see. Well...my mother never really was a "baby-sitter" either. It's like...Hey! I raised mine...YOU raise yours!

...and I did...and I have.

Bikerbettyboop
08-25-2004, 07:28 PM
Neckless I had to smile at your post about your mom not wanting to be a baby sitter for you... my mom and grandmother lived over 500 miles away so no way could she babysit for me.

Neckless
09-24-2004, 07:13 PM
Hehehe. My mom too, (now retired) was/is a teacher. So she really didn't have time to "baby sit".
Mom and I lived a few miles apart...but NO way was she going to keep kiddies...Oh no ma'am.

It's like...give me a hug and a kiss and <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_11_1.gif' alt='Granny' border=0></a>GO HOME!!

bettyboopfan
09-24-2004, 08:07 PM
I am very thankful for my mom. She tries to keep my girls at least on night a weekend! That one night sure is great!!!
<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_3_110v.gif' border=0></a>

My mom is great too! Just didn't do <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_13_14.gif' alt='Babysitting' border=0></a>
Heheh.

bettyboopfan
09-24-2004, 08:36 PM
I think maybe she does because mine are the only grandkids right now. If my brother ever has any it might change.
OH NO!!! Hehehe

Neckless
09-24-2004, 08:42 PM
Hehehe. It might. It's usually that way with "first" grands.

bettyboopfan
09-24-2004, 08:43 PM
Yes I know, my brother was the first and I was the last!!!

Neckless
09-24-2004, 09:29 PM
Does he want children?

bettyboopfan
09-24-2004, 09:30 PM
He says he does but he just got out of an ugly divorce and he has gone back to his "kid" days.

Neckless
09-24-2004, 09:31 PM
Nothing wrong with that. No child support. Just walk away.

bettyboopfan
09-24-2004, 09:32 PM
yep that is how it went

Neckless
09-24-2004, 10:16 PM
Hey. That's the best way. No kiddies to be hurt of confused. ...or the label of "dysfunctional family".

Let him be a kid again...for a few minutes.

Alright!! Watch that! You are a student and you NEED to stay focused. IF there is something you need to go back and re-read...POP to it!
It's better to re-read and understand than to let it go by and miss out on something...that may hold the key to your future!

Ok? Just looking out for you.

bettyboopfan
10-02-2004, 04:53 PM
Yea, what she said!!

My mother would probably have all of her grandkids living with her if they let her, all she lives for now is to spoiled them rotten and believe she does. When they want something, they call grandma.

Neckless
10-17-2004, 11:24 PM
Wow!! That's not bad at all BB68. That's a very special granny.

bettyboopfan
10-19-2004, 11:24 AM
I don't see anything wrong with calling granny if you need something....hehehe

I am 27 years old and when I need something, I call my granny!!

I am too spoiled, she always gets me what I need!!

Shame on granny!

hehehe!
