I think one of the best cleaners to have around is good old rubbing alcohol... it's great to use with a Q-tip for cleaning your computer keyboard keys and getting into all the nooks and crannies. I use it often on electronic components, like our tv, stereo, vcr, dvd player, etc.

You clean your dvd player...with alcohol on-on a Q-tip?

It is not good to use a liquid on any electronics it can harm them. Especially your computer n DVD player my hubby says that a clean dry Q-tip works ok on the key board. They make a elctronics cleaner that you can spray on a rag and drag over your machines. I would recommend that.

Remember that they do make special products to clean your DVD player an they are pretty inexpensive also.
You can find them at Walmart or Hastings or other movie seller companies

BBBuuuttt!!!!! If your not careful you can ruin it!! I would hate to see something so expensive to be ruined. I am not trying to step on toes, but you can use canned air or anything you can buy at the store that was made to clean your DVD player, they usually do not cost much. But if you want to save money. Baby wipes work great also:):) Coming for a mothers mouth.HEHEHE.....

I worked for a radio station for many years and that's how the radio engineers cleaned the electronic equipment. They dabbed the Q-tip in the alcohol so it was wet and then used it between the crevices, it doesn't have to be saturated, just moist... and the alcohol evaporates pretty quickly.
I wasn't suggesting that you pour the alcohol onto the keyboard... that definitely is a no no.

Oh no! Of course you wouldn't!! I always just dab a q tip in the alcohol first too.
And it is true, alcohol dries very quickly!
