I don't know these kind of bears. Why are they so special, besides that they have bb on them?

I suppose there is nothing toooo special about them. They are just very popular here at the moment and you can get all sorts of designs and things on them. Such as star signs, letters, Mothers Day, and loads of costumes. Pretty much anything really. But never until i saw these that i even knew you could get BB BB's. and as a BB & a teddy bear lover i just had to have 'em.

P.S. hows your new apartment going 10eke? settled in yet?

Oh my! Those Bean bag BB's are cute. I received a couple of T-shirts from a student and I am going to fill them with pillow stuffing and sew the sleeves, neck and bottom shut. I'll use them for throw pillows.

you are lucky - I wish we had rain here. We are suffering drought conditions here. We did have a few drops over the weekend but not enough to do any good. It is our winter here but the sky is blue few clouds and max temps around 23oC.

What great ages your kids are, i have nephews around those ages. They are sooo much fun.

I love summer give me the heat any day. The heat doesn't seem to effect me too badly. I can't handle the winter though 'cause once i'm cold that's it i take forever to warm up again.

Not that our winter's are as cold as yours though. Does it snow every winter there? We dont get snow here (Brisbane) - in fact Aust only has a couple of places that does get snow. Not bad for such a LARGE place hey.

N'less great to chat with you again it seems it has been a little while hope everything is OK.

Aust is mainly dry arid and flat outback so not much chance of snow. Some of our Capital cities along the east coast get quite cold with the coastal winds etc. This is also where most of our mountain ranges are (east coast) hence where we may get snow. (Mt Buller). Our inland towns have a lower min temp at night have been known to go below zero-oC.

Ok enough of the geography lesson. I hope you are all well and where ever you are the weather is fine.

It's hot and windy here but we finally had a cloud burst to cool us off a bit here in Arizona... we need more rain though... it's those hot days of summer isn't it? Except in Australia right now...

Do you usually get much rain in Arizona, Biker? We are in desperate need for it here also. However the forcast is for some rain later this week. (if they ever get it right that is)

Where i live the summers are very humid, though with the global changes etc the summers are becoming a bit drier.

Biker i picture Arizona as very dry (desert) kind of place, are my imaginings correct?

Hi Mel... southern Arizona is mostly desert but there is some beautiful vegetation there... this time of year we get what is called "monsoon" storms that come up from Mexico.. Arizona gets the majority of it's rain from these monsoon storms.

I live in the northern part of the state and we are surrounded by mountains... with pine trees and we get snow... all 4 seasons actually and we also get the monsoon rains too.. however we hadn't had any rain since February here.

So we are desperately in need of rain too. We're in a drought that has gotten worse and worse each year... they're saying it's the worst in 100 years here.

wow that is amazing - its funny how we get pre-conceived ideas in our minds how places look. I had no idea about the snow and mountains etc in Arizona. Sounds like a fabulous place (another must see on my lottery win world tour).

you are soooooooooo lucky to get all four seasons. I love Autumn. we had it whislt living in Adelaide (capt of South Aust). But QLD doesn't really have it. We definately get summer and a 'kind of' winter. and my sinuses tell me we get a spring also. ;)

sounds like rain is needed in most places - how about those living in the UK send some our way. Ha ha

oh ****s gals you are all so sweet. I have really missed you too, but life has been so hectic i have hardly had time to think let alone catch up with you all. I promise i wont do it again. Ok so you want all the goss"? i'll give you the short version so i dont bore you all to tears. my b'friend of 4yrs & i split up - i moved out (back to mummy's) - we have our house up for sale - my job of 4.5 yrs is unstable and i couldn't be guaranteed the security i need from the manager - i applied for anothe job -I GOT IT!!! - so finish up here in Friday - start new job Monday (reminds me i'll have to change me email here). So I'm living the single life and i'm loving it. I'm the happiest i've been in a long time, am relaxed, and enjoying myself. Well thats basically it in a nut shell so much going on but i'm not stressing am taking it all in my stride and am excited about all these new challenges. :) Life is wonderful!!!!!!!!! and finding "me" again is just as great.
