OK, so what i heard recently is that there is going to be a Betty Boop movie, I don't know if its true. And if it is true i wonder if they are going to use the cartoon character, or an actual actress to play her, which i think would look ridiculous. :D

hi Bettylouise,

never heard about that in france but i'm sure you will have seen the film (if it comes out) long before we french hear something about it :D

You can read the announcement here:

I'd seen a demo of Betty done by Mainframe Entertainment and she was wonderful!

This project is still in the works.

I hope it does come out!! I haven't seen BB in such a long time!!!! If it is not in cartoon, iI don't think it will be a big hit. :D

Betty
03-19-2003, 02:36 PM
 That sounds like a good thing to see bb on film again but my concern would be if they make it with a living person, who would they choose and if a cartoon how would make her character. But it will be a treat to see when it is done.

At the moment, the plan is a 3D animation of Betty Boop. Similar to the Barbie Nutcracker video.

Any updated news on Betty's movie?????

DEADPOOL
04-16-2003, 10:26 AM
yeah, the mainframe series sounds............well promising, I really think they have the ability to pull of a good betty, esspecially with previous series such as Beast wars, Reboot, and the up coming Spider-man series aimed at young adults, which might i add has had nothing but monumental stuff said about it, so i believe the Betty license is in great hands, just i wish they would speed up the process of getting these cgi series out quicker.

Boopsie-Cola
04-17-2003, 05:29 AM
im confused! wat r u on about? please explain

DEADPOOL
04-22-2003, 10:06 AM
Basically MainFrame are making the new series or movie of Betty Boop, there known for there unique style which is of course CGI orr computer animation!, i was giving some examples of there best work which includes Reboot and Beast Wars, ever seen em??
There also making the new MTV produced 'new' Spider-man series, due to air sometime this year on MTV!

Anyway i hoped that helped Boopsie-cola

DEADPOOL

LOL, im talking about the Spiderman cgi series, lol not the movie.
It's a series made my the same animation team who are making Betty Boops movie, so the style of the animation is gonna be very simliar keep that in mind.
I love Betty Boop, i've actually become very fond of her over the last year and a half, and if mainframe were just making Betty Boop's movie, i would surely put my vote in for it. But i just like the idea of spiderman you know swinging around and stuff, he is cool though come on.

Bikerbettyboop

Hi! I am new to this site. I have just been reading all of these posts, and I am very excited to learn about the new BB video project! I've been a BB fan for a bizillion years and am so happy to have discovered this site. I'll be watching for any updates on the movie........
After reading the first posts an intriguing thought has come to mind...I know it wouldn't come off well, and you'll probably agree with me that it would look dumb, BUT....
If they WERE to make a BB movie with real people, who do you think would be a good actress to cast for the lead?????
Drew Barrymore pops into my head...what do you think? :)

Valerie
06-26-2003, 03:00 PM
hi living booper
wellcome to the greatest site that 's ever been! i heard about Drew barrymore but hardly can remember what she looks like anyway they can't choose a french actress can they? (sorry i forgot to tell you i'm french!)

livingbooper
06-26-2003, 03:29 PM
Hi Valerie! Well, I'm not up on French actresses. Drew Barrymore has been in a lot of American films. She's blonde, so would have to dye her hair black. But she's colored her hair before. She's petite, with a roundish, impish face, and big blue eyes, trim but curvy figure. I think her voice would work, high and sweet.
She has an air of sexy innocence about her, kind of important quality if you are trying to emulate Ms. BB!

livingbooper
06-26-2003, 03:32 PM
Oh, and Drew's latest movie is being released now...the latest "Charlie's Angels".....

livingbooper > Why don't you start a new thread in the Chit Chat forum?

Post the question: If there was ever a Betty Boop movie made with actors, whom would you choose to play the role of Betty Boop?

Valerie
06-26-2003, 04:34 PM
yes of course, i remember now ! i knew i've heard that name before! thanks for the precision

have you already played the game psychadelic blocs?

Hmm.... could she play Betty Boop........well maybe........

Thanks for bringing this thread back to life! This was the very first thread that I responded to when I first discovered this forum!
I still think that Drew Barrymore with short black hair would make a great Betty Boop! I'm gonna find a picture of her and modify it with my Adobe photoart program and post it! Then you guys will see what I mean!

I just saw a TV ad for a new film release.... of
THE CAT IN THE HAT!
I loved that Dr. Seus story when I was a kid! I'll just have to check that one out! They're using real people with Seuse looking props and computer graphics. Ha anyone seen the previews??? It looks very cool!

Now, if they can do that with the Cat in the Hat... I'm sure they could do an awesome Betty Boop!!!!;)

We don't know what is happening with the movie, but MGCHAN our administrator has hinted that there is a "project" in the works. He is being very mysterious and won't divulge a thing. We just need to be patient and see what evolves, I guess....

livingbooper

Hi gpanuco! We are online at the same time!
I ride a 1998 Honda 750 Shadow ACE Deluxe with lots of accessories. I also have a show bike, a customized 1999 Honda Valkyrie with chrome and dragons all over it including an award winning paint job. The 1500 cc engine has been opened up to 1800 ccs and it is a beast. My fiance has a 1998 1100 Shadow with lots of custom accessories.

My fiance and I are opening up a motorcycle and hotrod customizing shop. We will be customizing a lot of the local bikes with specialty lighting and chrome, and soon we will be selling custom chopper frames, tanks, and custom pipes. My fiance wants to build a custom chopper of his own. He's got lots of friends in the show circuit, including a national award winner who has been published in a lot of motorcycle magazines. We hope to eventually build a winner ourselves. We don't have a Harley of our own right now, but hope to have one in the future. Along with a few other choice vehicles for our collection.....

Sorry to ramble so much. So much is happening in my life right now..... My fiance had gone to the big show in Fontana last year. He had a booth there. Dragon's Hotrod & Motorcycle Customizing....

Anyway, supposedly there is a brand new project in the works, and I can't wait to find out about it! I also have tapes of classic Betty Boop movies. mgchan knows more about it, but he's not divulging any information right now;)

I'm sure that it will be an animated piece. I'm hoping that they put Betty Boop on a Harley!:D

gpanuco
01-27-2004, 04:47 AM
Hey Living!!!
WOW!!!! You sure are a rider!! :-) I know what show you are talking about. Wasn't that the big one right off the 10 freeway, In between the Etiwanda and Cherry exit? I actually promoted that show with Anheuser Busch. :) IT WAS GREAT!!!!

OH YEAH!!! That would be sweet to see Betty in a movie/cartoon riding a Harley. With Pudgey on the handle bars. :) he he!!!

Where do you live? If not close to Fontana, do you usually attend the bike events/poker runs/shows?

livingbooper
01-28-2004, 03:12 AM
My fiance Don "Dragon" goes to the shows as a vendor, and sometimes he enters my bike "The Dragon" in contests.
He was there in a booth along with Cyberspeed Technologies promoting their rear-view camera systems. The Motocam guys kept taking off and partying I'm afraid and poor Don found himself running the booth by himself most of the time. They weren't much help, and he didn't get to see very much of the show.
Right now I am working in a furniture store and I work on the weekends, so I never get to go to the shows. Last year I went to LA for my vacation and we attended the LA Calendar Girls show. That was fun. I bought a couple of leather vests and some other goodies. They didn't have much in the way of Betty Boop though....:( I hope to be able to leave that job soon so that I can attend some of these events myself.

I live in Northern California in a suburb east of San Francisco. My town is called Concord and it is in the East Bay area.

I like the idea of Pudgy riding on the handlebars! I can see the image in my head and it is so cute!!!!!:D

Keep on posting!:D

Why thank you Valerie! I need to do more work on it but it IS very time consuming and there is never enough time to get everything done.
Right now I am redesigning my logo.
To make sure that we appeal to many, I am putting my dragonrider on a chopper instead of the big massive Valkerie motorcycle. This means that I have to change his legs. I am learning how to separate parts and move them on a drawing and how to "clone".
Gee, I feel like I'm in Computer Design school...again!

Valerie *** in the city was on the other day & it was the last show & Carrie was in Paris & she saw this family (Mom, Dad, & little girl) & she smiled & the little girl hit her on the head & then stuck out her tounge, it was funny. The little girl looked so much like Stella. Talk to you soon Gina :)

I'll have to think about that one...
Is it leafy or do we have a root here?
Beets are dark red... red cabbage is purple...

Turnip?

I'm stumped!

Valerie
03-04-2004, 03:21 PM
radish you were close

livingbooper
03-04-2004, 03:24 PM
You eat them with salt and butter? No wonder I didn't get it!
We eat them raw cut up in salads.
Do you cook them or just drizzle the butter over the top of raw slices radishes?????

This game looks like it will be quite educational!!!!

Valerie
03-04-2004, 03:32 PM
you can slice them in salad but you can butter some bread and dip the radish in salt and eat them with the bread! french version!

Bikerbettyboop
03-04-2004, 08:20 PM
Oh boy I've never heard of radishes being eaten that way. I'll have to try that sometime!

livingbooper

We can also learn about the different regional cuisines this way!

Valerie

But I am more used to Spanish...

I think that French is the loveliest language to listen too....
