Hi Mel... oops... sorry but sometimes I inadvertantly forget that many of the forum members don't know about some of the television shows... the Honeymooners is an old show... from the 1950's I believe. It was a comedy and Ralph Kramden was played by Jackie Gleason and it was pretty funny.
boopcrazy
06-19-2004, 03:20 PM
mel you can buy the honeymooners on tape i think you should really try to find it, it is one of the funniest shows and i just love his wife she is sassy kindda like me :) naw i'm kidding but she is very funny the whole cast is really. you should try and find it i know you'd love it.

thanks for that Ladies & mcchan. I think i remember hearing of that show maybe even my mum might have seen it. But i dont recall seeing it aired on TV in my lifetime or i was too young. I will try and see if i can find it somewhere sounds like a hoot.
so Betty Dare how long have you been a bus driver for? is it something you always wanted to do? i used to want to be a Truck driver when i was younger got the idea from a book i once read (has since been made a bad movie with Sly Stalone) but I grew up and became to "girly" to get my hands dirty. well not that bad.

Before I meet my husband and moved I was a single mom working part time at a Wendy's and going to school part time and of course being a full time mom:).
Now, since I am married, I really have not worked, did some schooling, and now I am a stay at home mom waiting on my baby to be here with in the next four weeks. I also take care of my son who is in Kindergarden, he makes it worth while to stay home.

I lived in Prescott Valley from Jan. 1998 until Oct. 2000. We moved to the Chino Valley area in 2000 and that's where we're at now... do you know where Old Hwy 89 is? The center is individually owned but it is rather big. There are approx. 150 students in the center. It ranges from infants to Kindergarten age and then there's the afterschool program that starts from age 5-12 years old. I love working there because it's a great family atmosphere and the parents are great and they really appreciate the teachers.

I am a 911 operator (for the past 5 years). I have actually worked in the police department for 18 years. I have been a transcriber, a detective secretary, and a traffic secretary. Those were in that order as promotions. The 911 operator, I kind of lucked into that position when a crazy mayor came onto the scene and did away with several jobs in city hall and the chief went on the search for me a position since I had been here so long.
Wow I've never known a 911 operator before but your job is essential! Good job on all the promotions and current position!! BTW Welcome to the forum!
